About Boat
Reely Catchy is a 53ft Classic Custom Carolina made by Ray Davis. The recent restoration in 2024 has breathed new life into this vessel, blending modern amenities with its classic sportfishing charm. The two Cummins engines (2 x 425HP) provide not only impressive power but also reliable performance, ensuring smooth sailing at a max cruising speed of 23 knots. With a capacity to accommodate six people. Our boats amenities make it perfect for comfortably fishing offshore and more importantly catching fish!
New this season! Omni Sonar is a high-end, 360-degree underwater scanning system that acts like "underwater radar" for vessels, allowing fishermen to detect fish schools and seabed structures in real-time, in any direction, rather than only directly below.

Captain Carter
Fishing and working on the water run through his veins, Capt. Carter has spent almost every day working on the Chesapeake and in the mid Atlantic region in one way or another since he was 13. Carter has set sail for Wanchese harbor and is extremely prepared. He is an exceptionally fishy and instinctual fisherman. No matter what 100% of his effort will be put into whatever he does Capt. Carter is an entertainer and a great captain to spend a day on the water with.
Mate - Jayson Meyers
Jayson Meyers grew up fishing the Chesapeake Bay as a boy and started fishing out of Ocean City MD in the 1980’s for tuna’s and billfish in the Canyons from the Spencer to the Norfolk. Much of Jayson’s experience comes from fishing with Captain John Brobst who commercial fished and ran charters out of OC in the Shelly II and worked and fished with Jayson in MD and the Bahamas. Jayson has been fishing the summers in NC since 2018 on the Omie Tillet built Salvation, and Joins Captain Carter Dudzinski in Wanchese for a new chapter aboard the classic Ray Davis “Reel Catchy”.
